Adecco have partnered with a Private Wealth company who are hiring a Financial Administrator on a permanent basis in Vancouver, BC. This role is very much a team based role and the core part of this role is providing excellent customer service to clients.

This position revolves around the Toronto Stock Exchange so working hours reflect this - shifts start from 6am. This role is suited to someone who likes early mornings and someone with excellent attention to detail. If you have a broker or finance background and able to start work at 6am, you may be our ideal candidate!

Financial Administrator Duties:

  • Create and update spreadsheets of daily transactions
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable
  • Review and process trades and balancing the budget
  • Prepare budgets, maintain reports on financial metrics and cheque runs
  • Reporting on investments, return on assets and growth rates
  • Keep records of invoices and tax payments
  • Identify and address account discrepancies,
  • Report on financial projections (e.g. liquidity and cash flow)

Financial Administrator Background:
  • 3 years experience banking, broker or finance
  • Proven work experience as a broker Administrator, Finance Assistant or similar role
  • Hands on experience with accounting software, like QuickBooks
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions)
  • Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures
