Adecco is currently recruiting for a full time permanent Financial Analyst - Construction job in Edmonton, AB.  The Financial Analyst - Construction will be working as part of a team of accounting professionals for a well established construction company located in southeast Edmonton.  They are growing, busy and adding to their team.  Our client is offering a competitive base salary, company paid benefits and room for career advancement.

Financial Analyst - Construction Responsibilities:

  • Data integrity, asset protection, segregation of duties, budgeting, financial reporting.
  • Assists with financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Assists in monitoring the monthly closing process.
  • Provides analysis on variances to plan and forecast
  • Inventory analysis and monitoring
  • Share best practices across the division (process improvements, financial modeling, and procedural changes).

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in finance, accounting or relevant discipline.

  • Three years relevant experience specific to costing and inventory.
  • Knowledge of corporate finance and manufacturing/construction costing principles.
  • Understand P&L and balance sheet dynamics
  • Must have advanced Excel analytical skills
