Adecco is currently recruiting for a full-time Financial Analyst - Inventory in Calgary, AB, to work a long-term contract at a well-established energy company majoring in the production of synthetic crude from oil sands. The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in accounting, business administration or other related discipline, as well as a minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting, finance and supply chain. He must also be Bilingual, in Fench and English.

  • Shifts: Monday - Friday
  • Job type: Full-time |Long-Term Contract
  • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily reconciliation of truck tickets for upstream business
  • Work in multiple databases to extract/upload truck data
  • Ensure all information is correct and up-to date for regulatory reporting
  • Complete redirect requests to account for unplanned product movements
  • Interact with carriers to get correct truck loading information
  • Complete redirect requests to account for unplanned product movements
  • Follow appropriate internal and SOX audit processes for inventory accounting
  • Identify, test, and implement process improvements
  • Prepare and file reports on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Perform other duties as required for business needs
  • Requirements and Qualifications: 
  • An undergraduate degree in accounting, business administration or a related discipline
  • Three years of experience in accounting, finance and/or supply chain
  • Experience with reconciliation activities and product movements is a plus
  • Previous SOX, SAP, and Toptech experience is an asset
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is a must
  • Strong initiative to trouble-shoot and problem solve
  • Collaboration skills that enable you to build strong, positive relationships with diverse groups to achieve the best results and deliver the most value
  • Strong organizational skills and zero tolerance for shortcuts
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
