Adecco professional is looking for a Financial Controller in the Downtown area to join our client for a maternity leave coverage. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of financial management experience and hold a CPA designation. The responsibilities for the Financial Controller job opening in Downtown Toronto may include, but are not limited to:

Develop and implement internal controls and procedures
Manage all budgets, income, and expense activities
Coordinate and prepare annual internal and external financial statements
Gather and prepare reports for senior members
Oversee with payroll as needed
Assist with internal and external audit
Guide and lead individuals who are apart of the accounting department

Qualification for the Financial Controller includes:

Post-secondary degree or CPA designation mandatory
3-5 years of related experience in financial management
Academic or non-profit industry experience an asset
Strong technical skills and proficient in SAP
Knowledge and understanding of GAAP and IFRS standards and principles
