Our client, one of Canada's largest electrical distributors and logistics service providers, is hiring for an experienced Forklift Driver. The successful candidate will be punctual, reliable and safety-oriented with up-to-date forklift certifications.

This role in Surrey is full time, ongoing, with a pay range of $18-23 depending on experience.
Work hours are weekdays, Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm.

Forklift Driver responsibilities include:

  • Loading and unloading trucks, order picking, wrapping products
  • Packing, labeling, shipping and receiving
  • Operating a Forklift
  • Responsible for quality control, ensuring damaged products are not sent out
  • Documenting and reporting incoming damaged products
  • Packaging finished products for shipping (stretch wrapping, boxing, labeling)
  • Staging finished products for loading
  • Loading finished products onto trucks
  • Follow warehouse health and safety guidelines, general administrative duties
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area
Forklift Driver qualifications:
  • Current Forklift Certification Required
  • Previous Warehouse experience in shipping/receiving.
  • Ability to lift upwards of 50lbs
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literate (basic computer skills)
  • Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver's License
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • High level of work commitment, attention to detail and the ability to learn and follow procedures.
