Adecco is partnered with a leading automotive manufacturer in Bradford, ON who is currently hiring for a certified Counterbalance (Electric) Forklift Operator.

The main job duties for this role will be to work alongside a team and operate battery/electric counterbalance forklift for Receiving, Shipping and Line Supply for production parts, including racks, carts, and pallets of windows including front windshields, rear windows, front and rear door windows, cardboard containers of rubber edging, and other supply parts required to be used in assembly. Candidate will be required to manually stock assembly line shelves with boxes from pallets of smaller parts used in production. Must be able to lift up to approximately 30 lbs.

This opportunity is long-term with possibility of permanent hire based on attendance and performance!

SHIFTS: Must be able to work 2 weeks of days (6:30am 3:00pm) and 2 weeks of afternoons (4pm 12:30pm) on rotation.

WAGE: $18/per hour. *Shift premium is .25/hr when on afternoons.

- Must have previous Counterbalance Forklift experience

- Must have ankle covered CSA approved steel toed work boots

- Must be able to bend, lift and stand for 8 to 10 hour shifts

- Must have OSSD (Grade 12 High school diploma) OR able to pass grade 12 testing.
