Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary Forklift Operator in Markham (Highway 7 & Warden). To qualify for this Forklift operator role, you must have 1 year experience operating a Raymond Reach Forklift and Walkie or a Counterbalance and Walkie. Our client is multinational package delivery and supply chain management company. The pay rate for this position is $17.50/hour and shift timings are Monday to Friday from 12pm to 8.30pm.
Forklift Operator Responsibilities:      

  • Responsible for warehouse functions including, but not limited to, unloading, sorting, picking, kitting, packing, and shipping and cycle counts and may be responsible for multiple accounts. 
  • Use RF device, PC, carts and pallet jacks. Comfortable working in a GMP warehouse environment – including cold chain (2C to 8C) environments
  • Will be asked to perform General Labor duties such as picking, packing orders as well load/offload trailer.                                                                                                               
    Forklift Operator Qualifications:
  • Current certification + minimum of 1-yr certification in Raymond Reach
  • 1-2 years experience in manufacturing or warehousing environment
  • Familiar with warehousing practices and methods
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Driven by objectives and results (target oriented)
  • People oriented, and likes to work with and in a team
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
