Adecco is currently hiring for temporary, full-time Forklift Operator, located in Woodbridge, ON, for a leading manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be a certified forklift operator with 3 years of experience in counterbalance. This is the opportunity for you to get your foot in the door with our client, who values growth for its employees and has a friendly working environment.

  • Pay rate: Up to $20 + $0.50 (Afternoon)+ $ 1.00 (Night)
  • Location: Woodbridge, ON
  • Shifts: Mon-Fri | 10:30 pm-7:00 am

  • Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting device.
  • Monitor material usage on work floor and supply production lines with raw materials
  • Transporting materials to different locations within the facility
  • Inspecting vehicles for damages and scheduling them for maintenance and repairs
  • Operating and managing technical equipment
  • Managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment
  • Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
  • Qualifications:

  • Current OSHA forklift driving certification or license
  • Occasionally able to work shifts and weekends
  • 3+ years’ experience operating powered forklifts, i.e. Counter-Balance.
  • Knowledge of various material-handling equipment an asset
  • Proficient in mathematics
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulation
