Adecco is currently recruiting for a FORKLIFT OPERATOR with our Client in NORTH YORK, ON.

The FORKLIFT OPERATOR will have the following responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks using forklift
  • Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
  • Look through work orders to determine order picking activities and pick orders according to the specific instructions provided
  • Record damaged or defective items and replace them according to company policies
  • Selected the method of consignment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates
  • Insert items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding
  • Post weights and shipping charges, and affixed postage
  • Warehouse duties such as sweeping area clean if need be
  • Creating tickets
  • Working with team and communicating

    • The FORKLIFT OPERATOR must meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • 3-5 years of Counterbalance experience
  • Licensed forklift operator
  • Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse operations
  • Strong communication
  • Reliable and bondable
  • Ready to work attitude
  • Looking for long-term position
  • Microsoft, Excel, Word
  • Able to pick up 50lbs
  • Ready to work mornings 7AM - 3:30PM 
  • Working under all health and safety regulations
  • Must own Steel Toe Boots

    • Additional information:

  • $21/hr 
  • Monday to Friday 
  • Caledonia rd (work location main street)
  • Ongoing assignment 
  • Must be able to do a interview via online with client
