Our growing client who specializes in consumer goods is looking for a French Translations Coordinator to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years related experience and must be fluent in French and English.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Translations Coordinator are to proof, translate, and transcribe materials for communications with Consultants or customer facing materials and to maintain language resources.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate delivery of translation files for specific projects to and from translators and to requestors
Track and report on status of translation files and progress of projects Communicate roadblocks, issues, and changes in delivery dates to Manager
Proof printed and digital copy for quality ensuring accuracy of translation, adherence to standards, style guide, glossaries, and other tools
Build and develop collaborative relationships with external translation firms and other company teams to ensure translated content is of the highest quality
Work across all company departments to deliver news and updates as needed for specific markets or languages
Assist Translations Team with the maintenance of language, voice, tone and country-specific style guides, glossaries, and specific company term dictionaries
Assist in the maintenance of SDL and GroupShare assets (Translation Memory, TermBase, Autosuggest dictionaries, Tokens, etc.) for language(s) of responsibility Gather and distribute reference materials to vendors, as needed Work with translation companies to reduce and resolve issues
Work with vendors to reduce quality issues to an acceptable level

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate translation services with external vendors as needed
Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
Requires fluency in French and English (reading, writing, and speaking) Experience translating documents from English to French... both Quebec and France French
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to read, write, and speak in English and French, fluently
Ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
Ability to provide a high level customer service internally and externally Strong editing skills with a high level of attention to detail
Must have working knowledge of computers and all applicable software including Microsoft Office Suite
Experience utilizing translation software such as SDL Trados Studio or MultiTerm is an asset
