The pay rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.

What you will get to do:

  • Completion of raw material blending to provide finished product for filling production.
  • Safely load/unload bulk chemicals in accordance with procedures and working instructions and maintain the tank farm to a safe level
  • Ensure health, safety and housekeeping procedures are followed when manufacturing to provide and safe a work environment
  • Working closely with QA department for sample providing; sample testing and sample retention of all batch and bulk Undertake other special projects and other tasks as assigned by supervisor
  • Inside plant area requiring PPE to be worn at all times, occasional outside work
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Completion of College / CEGEP / Vocational or Technical Training
  • Minimum of 3 years industrial blending experience in a production plant   environment working with pumps, mixers and auxiliary equipment
  • Chemical Process Operator credentials preferred or equivalent experience
  • Good knowledge of environment, health and safety the workplace
  • High level of attention to detail regarding batch/ formulation instructions and high    degree of accuracy when weighing and changing materials to batch
  • TDG Certification
  • Forklift Operation Certification
  • First Aid, WHMIS and other safety courses
