Do you like the construction industry but done with working outside in the heat, cold, wind and rain? If so, Adecco is hiring for a number of temporary to hire General Labourer positions for our manufacturing client in Surrey.  These General Labourer positions range from entry level to semi-skilled to skilled labour in an assembly line / manufacturing warehouse environment.

Construction industry experience is considered an asset as are certifications and leadership qualifications. Starting pay rates are commensurate with your experience and skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate hand tools such as nail guns, sanders, saws and drills 
  • Transfer product down an assembly line (heavy lifting)
  • Ensure that the correct number and correct parts per customers' specifications.
  • Must be able to safely wear equipment
  • Ensure all products meet required safety, quality and legal building code standards 
  • Assist in supporting Safety Procedures and Policies
  • Qualifications and Abilities

  • Use a tape measure
  • Good Verbal and written communication skills
  • Listening, understanding, and following directions
  • Work in a variety of roles (flexibility)
