Adecco is currently hiring for General Labour position (several shifts) in Mississauga, ON. To qualify for this General Labour role, you must be able to perform general warehouse functions such as: kitting, assembly and scanning, unpacking product boxes to separate components/accessories (collateral materials: backing, carrying case, manual, ear buds, etc) for preparation of final product packages. Our client promotes employees' growth and development of new skills through coaching, cross training and engagement with the continuous improvement programs. 

General Labour Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and accurately operate scan equipment and prepare product for movement to inventory
  • Execute inventory transfers within the Warehouse from Main to Assembly using the RF equipment
  • Perform work in accordance with activity and account specific Standard Operating Procedures at acceptable productivity levels
  • Determine sequence on labels and match skid labels to product labels (Good with numbers)
  • Use push carts, BT, go throughout aisles to pick items according to order
  • Barcode label on item  is scanned using RF scanner
  • Packing boxes with product as picking is completed throughout aisles
  • Sorting on carts/BT to assist with processing during packing/loading
  • General warehouse duties

General Labour Qualifications

  • Warehouse or logistics experience is a must
  • Must be able to work in fast paced environment
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks that may require light to moderately heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs)
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, logistics environment
  • Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
