Adecco is currently seeking a General Technician for a temporary to potentially permanent position located in Whitby, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting visual inspections, pretests, and repairs on a variety of items. If you have a keen eye for detail, a knack for troubleshooting, and are legally eligible to work in Canada, we want to hear from you!

  • Pay rate: $18-$20/hour.

  • Location: Whitby, ON

  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

  • Job type: Temporary to potentially permanent | Full-time

Detailed Job Description:

  • Perform visual inspections of items, cross-referencing tags with work orders, and identifying any damaged or missing components.

  • Conduct pretests to pinpoint root problems and perform Engineering Changes as necessary.

  • Test items for functionality, quality, BIOS updates, etc., and execute repairs when needed.

  • Assess items for physical damage and forward them to the refurbishment department.

  • Undertake any other tasks as assigned.

  • Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check.

  • Electronics experience is considered an asset.

Candidate's Profile:

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada is required.

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Tech-savvy individuals with electronics experience are encouraged to apply.
