Adecco is currently recruiting for a GIS Analyst. This is a 12 Month contract, to work with our Crown Corporation Client located in Toronto. You will be working Remote. The successful candidate must hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance or be eligible for one.
The GIS Analyst will have the following responsibilities:
Runs geotargeting analysis leveraging G IS tools;
Performs queries and data pulls on SQL;
Using Python, finds way to improve processes and make current scripts more efficient;
Liaises with internal teams, develops good working relationships and establishes a solid basis for cohesive team approach towards corporate goals and objectives and a positive corporate image;
Prioritize tasks based on complexity, type o1 request and customer;
They attend team meetings on a weekly basis, need to be able to discuss solutions and make suggestions to improve and automate, seek efficiencies;
Assemble spatial data and analyze using ArcGIS Desktop/ArcGIS Pro;
Assisting with design and large-scale projects;
Assisting in documentation preparation.
The GIS Analyst must meet the following mandatory requirements:
Completion o1 a diploma/degree education in geography, cartography, computer science, Geosciences or related field;
2+ years of related experience in a G IS systems environment and/or information technology, involved in spatial process analysis and/or G IS applications development and end user application support;
2+ years’ work experience using ArcGIS;
GIS experience with the following tools: ESRI, Arc Math, Arc MAP (asset);
SQL experience;
Knowledge o1 spatial data processing workflows and data modeling tools;
Proficiency with MS-Excel and familiarity with database, processing, or scripting tools;
Python experience;
Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access);
Clear communication skills
