Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Group Benefits Administrator in Ottawa, ON. In this role you will assist with onboarding of new clients into benefits and pension options, as well as supporting clients with navigating their plans and connecting with insurance carrier to assist with client inquiries. This role does require a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with group benefits, pension options and insurance products.

  • Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the onboarding process of new clients for group benefits and pension.
  • Manage daily support with our clients by helping them navigate through their benefits plan and connecting with insurance carriers to assist with client queries.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual renewals and semiannual reports for existing clients.
  • Input data and maintain accurate and current records for all clients in our client management system.
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations for current and new clients.
  • Review and compare plan booklets and contracts.
  • Develop a strong relationship with our clients HR team.
  • Work with the advisor to manage calendars, support seminars, presentations, and daily activities
  • Prepare new applications for individual policies including life insurance, long term disability and critical illness.
  • Obtain quotes for individual health benefits and travel insurance.
  • Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience with demonstrated business acumen and an in-depth knowledge of Group Benefits
  • University degree in Health Sciences, Business, Human resource or another related field
  • Knowledge of Group health insurance plans.
  • Client focused with strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
  • Must be strongly detail oriented.
  • Ability to work with clients to support, explain and provide the assistance they need in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative by ranking and completing tasks in a timely manner.
