Adecco is currently hiring for temporary, full-time Associates for our client that majors in the Cannabis Industry. In this role you will be taking care of the plants from clone/sapling to full Harvest. Pruning, cutting back, watering, spraying and netting the plants. Harvest cutting back all plants in the room and transporting it to Trim for the next step in their process.

  • Pay rate: $17.00/hour

  • Responsibilities:

  • Taking care of the plants from clone/sapling to full Harvest. Pruning, cutting back, watering, spraying and netting the plants. Harvest cutting back all plants in the room and transporting it to Trim for the next step in their process.
  • In this position you will be responsible for working according to client SOPs & detailed protocols in addition to the following:
  • You are a fast-learner with strong attention to detail and have excellent time-management skills.
  • You will be expected to operate or work near moving machinery.
  • This position will require the flexibility to work in numerous areas in the facility. This will mean that the exposures/demands may change throughout your placement time.
  • Have a proven track record of possessing a proactive mindset in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction.
  • You will be a member of a highly efficient team that needs to be dynamic and flexible to respond to business needs, scheduling, and loading
  • Able to work a set scheduled shift schedule up to 40 hours
  • Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety and environmental standards.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned
  • Qualifications:

  • Must have a clear criminal background
  • Must have meticulous attention to detail
  • Capable of lifting 30lbs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to carry out often repetitive tasks at a continuously high level of quality
  • Willingness and flexibility to complete any task that may be required 
  • Must be at least 19 years of age to work in the Cannabis Industry
  • Personal protective equipment required: safety shoes
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
