Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary, full-time Hand Soldering Technician in Markham, ON to work for our client, a leading company that majors in the Electronic Component Manufacturing industry.

  • Pay rate: between $17.00 - $20.00/hour (depending on experience)
  • Location: Markham, ON
  • Job type: Full-time |Temporary with opportunity for permanent employment
  • Shifts: 4:00PM - 12:30AM

    • Responsibilities:

  • Performing component assembly of circuit boards, wiring harnesses, connectors, chassis wiring assemblies
  • Mounting and soldering components, wiring harnesses, connectors and mechanical assemblies
  • Reworking and repairing of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies based on instructions, ECOs, process deviation, etc.
  • Supporting engineering projects as required
  • Other duties as assigned

    • Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Lifting or moving up to 10lbs may be required
  • Certificate or Diploma in Electronics or enrolled in a technical school would be an asset
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in hand soldering or a related field
  • Encouraging and demonstrating a strong focus on delivering for the customer
  • Demonstrating ability to shift focus into alternate roles as required
  • Working well under and meeting set deadlines
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer
  • Overtime as required
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
