Adecco is currently hiring for a Permanent Health Care Services Facilitator in Regina, SK. To qualify for this Health Care Services Facilitator role, you must be a Registered Nurse and eligible to practice within Saskatchewan.
Health Care Services Facilitator Responsibilities:

  • Consults with Claims Entitlement Specialist and/or Case Manager, health care professionals, treatment centers, employers or workers, where problems develop with treatment or return to work programs.  Identifies problem and resolves.
  • Identifies need for clarification on issues of extent, responsibility and consults with Claims Entitlement Specialist and/or Case Manager to provide clear instructions to treatment center and all parties involved.
  • In conjunction with Medical Health (Psychologist/ Physiotherapist), works to resolve difficulties arising in return to work programs by contacting employer, worker, Health Care Professional and treatment center.  May involve education, explanation, mediation and confrontation.  May involve work site visitations.
  • Resolves conflicts in medical opinion between Primary Care Providers and treatment center.  May involve discussion with Primary Care Providers, return to the treatment center or referral to an assessment team.
  • Meets with Health Care professionals and treatment centers throughout Saskatchewan to review treatment programs and identify and resolve concerns.
  • Participates in departmental meetings to provide input to developing and monitoring programs and developing procedures and documentation.
  • Educates Health Care professionals and treatment centers as to requirements on procedures, reporting, etc.
  • Serves as a resource for Claims Entitlement Specialist and/or Case Manager, Health Care professionals and treatment centers.

Health Care Services Facilitator Qualifications:

  • A degree or three (3) years successfully completed post-secondary in health services such as nursing, physiotherapy or occupational therapy and/or currently licensed or eligible for registration/licensure with the self-regulating body for one of the stated health services areas listed above.

Over one (1) year up to and including two (2) years successful experience demonstrating the ability to do the following:

  • Demonstrated medical knowledge as it applies to Functional Rehabilitation and Return to Work Programs.
  • Demonstrated case management skills, including problem identification and problem solving, and good medical interpretation skills.
  • Oral and written business communication and mediation skills.
  • Conducting personal interviews with the public.
  • Analyzing facts and obtaining necessary information by the most appropriate means.
  • Resolving difficulties and conflicts on the basis of legislation, policy and department processes.
  • Organizing work schedules, prioritizing multiple work tasks and completing work within established time frames.


Willingness and ability to travel within the province and to work independently away from the office.  A valid driver's license is necessary.
