Are you an outstanding Hotel Manager? Adecco is currently seeking a permanent, full-time Hotel Manager to work at our reputable client in Gold River, BC. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing Hotel operations in its entirety. This includes daily operations, stakeholder relationship management, managing hotel employees and ensuring all hotel services are carried out in a client-focused manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Participate in the development of the hotel business plan and annual budget; monitor sales performance for profitability
Develop and implement standard operating procedures for daily operations of the hotel
Participate in the development and execution of key marketing strategies in an effort to drive business
Ensure a high standard of service is delivered to all guests, in a friendly, professional and memorable manner
Maintain costs, within the allocated annual budget
Collaborate with Human Resources to facilitate recruitment functions, performance management and dispute resolution
Resolve issues regarding hotel services, amenities or billing disputes
Coordinate with external stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers and travel agencies
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Manage and oversee building maintenance
Assist with administrative and front desk tasks such as making or amending reservations, checking guests in and out, and attending to guests’ needs
Requirements and Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Hospitality or Hotel Management is required
Minimum five years of experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
BC Serving it Right Certification is a must
Experience working with First Nations is preferred
High level of competency in computer software including MS Office - Word and Excel
Strong background in food and beverage and/or Hotel Management
Able to work independently without supervision and in a team environment where mutual support is essential
Adaptable to change and able to effectively set priorities
Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication skills are crucial for succes
Able to work evening and weekend shifts, on a rotating schedule
Must have a valid driver’s license
RCMP clearance (not older than one year) is required
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
