Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent, full-time HR Assistant in Richmond, BC. To be considered for the HR Assistant position you must have 3 years’ experience in human resources and administration within an office environment. 

The HR Assistant will work closely with the Director of Recruitment and the Director of People Development at the Head Office in Richmond. This will involve full-cycle recruitment of the company and their various locations. The HR Assistant will also be responsible for marketing activities and travel coordination.

HR Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Full-cycle recruitment for all office locations, using external job boards and working with external recruiters
  • Work with management team and the Director of Recruitment to identify and address staffing needs
  • Create, review and update job descriptions and postings
  • Prepare hiring documentations and set-up new hires 
  • Work with the Director of People Development, create annual training plan, administer registration etc. track staff developmental goals and progress using existing tools
  • Manage grant applications, calendar invites, boardroom setup and attendance taking at internal training workshops/seminars
  • Facilitate the creation of blog posts and social media campaigns
  • Track marketing initiatives and budgets
  • Coordinate community outreach donations 
  • Organize client gifts and recognition initiatives
  • Travel coordination for business travel

HR Assistant Requirements:

  • 3+ years in an HR/Administrative role 
  • Experience with companies with at least 70 employees preferred
  • Excellent eye for detail 
  • Proven outstanding English language skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Minute taking experience an asset
  • High adaptability to new software technology
  • Ability to closely adhere to established policies and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills
