Adecco is currently hiring an HR Coordinator in Toronto, ON out of our Head Office!

To be considered for this HR Coordinator role, you must have 1 year of administrative experience, ideally in a Human Resources department, strong excel skills and a can-do attitude! In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the administrative functions of our HR department and acting as the first point of contact for our colleagues when it comes to all things HR-related! This includes information about our HRIS, benefits, recruitment, onboarding, reporting and HR programs and policies.

HR Coordinator Responsibilities:




Processing all employment related letters, including new hires, salary changes, promotions and transfers.
Supporting the recruitment process through posting open positions, administering assessments and performing reference and background checks.
Responding to field management inquiries regarding personnel related forms, colleague data changes and other HR processes.
Coordinating paperwork according to payroll closing dates, processing new hire kits, and entering all colleague data into the HRIS.
Generating specialized and ad hoc HRIS reports (e.g. Attendance, Turnover, etc.) as needed by the HR Department, as well as the corporate offices in Jacksonville and Zurich.
Collecting, reviewing and processing colleague group benefit applications and setting up monthly premium deductions in the payroll system. Acting as the primary contact for colleagues with regards to any benefit claim issues or questions about the benefit programs.
Responsible for paying and reconciling all departmental invoices and completing the required Journal Entries for month end.
Administering various programs such as Tuition Reimbursement, Referral Bonus, Service Awards, Fitness Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program and Group RRSP.



HR Coordinator Requirements:

Completion of post-secondary education in Human Resources or years of equivalent experience demonstrating progressive responsibility.
A minimum of one year administrative experience, ideally in a Human Resources department.
Experience/knowledge of general Human Resources administrative and support practices.
Experience/ knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems, experience with PeopleSoft is an asset.
Proficient in PC software packages, such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and e-mail applications with an advanced level of Excel skills.
