Adecco is currently recruiting for Arcelor Mittal Hamilton East who is looking for a Human Resource Generalist to join their team for an 18 month contract. The ideal HR Generalist candidate will have a minimum of 3-4years related experience and will be responsible for the following:
HR Generalist Responsibilities
Deal with employee relations, health & Safety, payroll & benefits, etc Full cycle HR Partners with employees and management to communicate various HR/facility initiatives through various communication platforms. Liaises with Group Benefits providers, Corporate Office and other external services. Responds to employee relation issues. Coordinate the retirement process for all employees. Produce the weekly production schedule. Assists in training and development efforts. Champions recruitment and coordinates all activities connected with the process. Maintains HRIS system records and produces reports from database. Works closely with managers to monitor absenteeism and disciplinary actions. Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements. Coordinates corporate responsibility activities. Performs other related duties as required.
