Adecco is currently hiring for permanent Human Resources Advisor to work full-time hours for our client located in Elk Valley, BC. Our client is growing and are looking to add to their team and the incumbent is required to be on site. Take note this is a unionized location. This role reports to the Human Resources, Superintendent.

  • Location: Elk Valley, BC
  • Availability Required: Monday-Friday
  • Job type: Permanent

    • Responsibilities:

  • Perform operational process in the administration and roll out of different HR programs.
  • Handling labor relations issues engaging with all employees from various departments.
  • Demonstrate you are a safety leader by adhering to the safety and environmental processes set out by our client.
  • Oversee recruitment approvals, provide guidance on salary and benefits, and participate in initiatives and training processes.
  • Provide training for leaders by one on one or group presentations.
  • Engage daily with employees in diverse departments at all levels of the organization.

    • Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Degree in Human Resources or an equivalent field partnered with three plus years of experience working in a unionized environment.
  • This role requires extensive organizational and interpersonal skills as you will be implementing various front line human resource generalist responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of current Employment Standards and Legislation.
  • Digital literacy working in various systems in addition to MS Office programs.
