Adecco is currently hiring a temporary Human Resources and Payroll Administrator for a 12-month Maternity Leave coverage to work full-time hours for our client in Kingston ON. In this role, you would provide full cycle payroll for Union and Non-union employees on a bi-weekly basis. The candidate is responsible for the maintenance and administration of employee records, compensation and benefits, remittances and WSIB protocols, while maintaining compliance with all legislative requirements.
Please note that this could lead to a permanent position.
Pay rate: $45k-$60k/year depending on experience

Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
Payroll Compliance Practitioner and Certified Human Resources Professional preferred or combination of work experience.
Must have excellent knowledge of the Employment Standards Act, Labour Relations Act, Occupational Health & Safety Act, WCB Act, Human Rights Code, and other similar legislative requirements involving employees and the company's operation.
Sound knowledge of accounting principles as it pertains to payroll
Possess superior communication and interpersonal skills; positive, persuasive, tactful and exercise good judgment.
Proficient in computer applications; Microsoft Office suite
Strong team player with a positive “Can Do” attitude
