Human Resources Generalist
Adecco is currently hiring for a full time Human Resources Generalist to work in the Edmonton, AB area. Our client provides innovative products, manufacturing technologies, and sustainable solutions that address energy efficiency, product safety, renewable energy, durable infrastructure, and labor productivity.

Pay Rate: $24.00-28.00 per hour
Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Job type: 3-month contract, may lead to a permanent position

Job responsibilities include:
Recruiting and sourcing candidates to fill entry-level Union positions with exceptional talent in a timely manner
Partners with business leaders on organization announcement and ensures effective on-boarding for new hires
Coordinates and schedules candidate interviews; creates interview materials; maintains/updates information
Provides support for all employee HR processes such as payroll, benefits, communications, onboarding, record keeping
Plans and executes employee engagement events
Develops, prepares, and maintains reports generated through Talent Center and Kronos Analytics
Ensures Employee Central data integrity through accurate and timely processing of job changes, separations, hires and organization change
Maintains appropriate electronic & physical filing systems
Serves as the point of contact for all employee record questions including but not limited to: disciplinary records, payroll, benefits, attendance, contact lists etc.
Coordinates and schedules candidate interviews; creates interview materials; maintains/updates information
Adheres to all site and position-specific safety policies, procedures, and standards
To qualify, you should:
Possess 3-5 years of Human Resource recruiting and payroll experience, communicating both internally and externally and effectively managing relationships at all levels
Possess a proven track record of success in fill entry-level open positions with exceptional talent in a timely manner and collaborating with others and providing administrative support
Strong analytical skills, ability to evaluate and interpret data
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive communications and data
Ability to coordinate multiple activities daily
Highly organized, strong skills in attention to detail/accuracy/flexibility
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and organizational skills and the ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of constituencies
High fluency in using MS Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Knowledge of HRIS systems (SuccessFactors), Kronos
