We have an opening for a Human Resources Generalist to join our corporate HR team. The Human Resources Generalist has full-cycle recruitment responsibility and provides first level support to Adecco’s Colleagues and Managers by providing Human Resources guidance, coaching, training and tools. In this fast paced, fun environment, the successful candidate can expect to be constantly challenged. Human Resources Generalist Job Functions include:

Directly recruits for and facilitates all aspects of the recruitment process for colleague positions including sourcing, prescreening, interviewing, testing and reference checking.

Independently plans recruitment activities and proactively sources passive candidates through active headhunting, social media and other networking activities, ensuring Adecco is promoted as a great place to work.

Supports the overall colleague recruitment strategy, providing input on and solutions to challenges in candidate attraction, recruitment and selection processes.

Provides educated advice and solutions to Adecco’s Colleague inquiries on Associate and business issues that relate to Human Resources.

Utilizes available tools and resources to create and provide Human Resources training and communication that allow our field staff to more effectively perform the Human Resources functions within their jobs.

Provides guidance and support to our Managers, ensuring they follow preferred coaching methods, minimizing Adecco’s risk for legal exposure and termination expenses. Responds to colleague complaints as necessary.

Develops, implements and administers programs and policies as they relate to effective employee relations within Adecco, including analyzing HR data to identify trends and provide suggestions and solutions that impact employee satisfaction and retention.

Human Resources Generalist Job Requirements:

Completion of post-secondary education in Human Resources or years of equivalent experience demonstrating progressive responsibility.
A minimum of 3 years related experience that includes recruitment and employee relations.
In depth knowledge of provincial labour and employment laws.
Proficient in PC software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail applications.
Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
