As a Human Resource Manager, you will report to the Director of Human Resources and you will be responsible for all human resources functions, such as managing human resources services, programs, policies & culture.

  • Responsibilities:

  • Utilize strong communication skills, professionalism, and deep technical expertise to provide internal HR team with guidance and direction in all areas of HR.
  • Responsible for Organizational Development & Effectiveness, Employee Relations & Communications, Leadership Training & Skills development, Performance Management & Succession Planning, Recruitment & Retention, Compensation & Payroll & Benefits, HRIS
  • Work closely with the key business leaders to provide expertise, guidance and support on all people processes including performance management, workforce planning, succession planning, compensation, and development
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performance, knowledgeable, and responsive human resources team of 4 to include: 3 HR Generalists & 1 HR Business Partner 
  • Provide interpretation of HR polices to employees/leaders and promote understanding of programs, policies, and objectives
  • Participate in a wide variety of Human Resource generalist activities, Recruitment & Selection, Performance Management, HR administration, Talent Management
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in Human Resources
  • Post Secondary education in Human Resources or a related field
  • Charismatic and experienced leader who has demonstrated HR Team leadership, coaching and mentoring direct reports
  • Strong working knowledge of current employment legislation, pronouncements and regulations pertaining to Human Resource operations
  • Advanced level of knowledge in Human Resources principles and an ability to apply this knowledge as it pertains to the company
  • Ability to navigate through a fast paced, growing and changing culture with the ability to make decisions and influence client groups
  • Superior oral and written communication, combined with strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in using MS Office applications
  • Ability to create and maintain a healthy and productive work environment
  • CHRP designation is an asset
