Recruitment Consultant, Permanent Search –

We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant, Permanent Search in Toronto. This position requires someone who can source and secure new business opportunities within a vertical market and identify top notch candidates. The successful candidate will be people who can build effective relationship with our candidates, clients and community. The ideal candidate possesses excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with an ability to influence and motivate others. The ability to consistently meet deadlines while effectively managing multiple tasks is critical in this role. We are looking for someone with a demonstrated track record of high call volume, successful outbound, business to business (B2B) sales, a customer driven approach and who are strong team players.

Functions of this position include:

Identifies and develops account prospects utilizing telemarketing, direct mail and other sales techniques to identify potential new clients for Adecco.
Assists in the development and maintenance of the Adecco brand and awareness through advertising and public relations activities, such as direct mail and promotional programs, job fairs and as a participating member of civic organizations.
Fills and services client orders efficiently through interviewing, testing and placing permanent candidates. Identifies qualified candidates through this process in order to create an inventory sufficient to meet current and future client demand.
Skill markets candidates with high demand qualifications to current and potential clients.
Maintains thorough documentation utilizing Adecco technology and completes reports as required.

Requirements:

Completion of post-secondary education in a related field, or years of equivalent experience demonstrating progressive responsibility.
Three (3) years related working experience in a sales/customer service role, preferably in a professional field (i.e., executive, finance, IT).
Staffing industry experience is a definite asset.
Working knowledge of labour and employment laws.
Superior organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a pressured environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and e-mail.
