Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent Bilingual Human Resources Specialist in Vaughan, ON to work for our client, one of Canada's largest plastic container companies. In this role, you will be instrumental in different business areas, such as benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, onboarding and employment law compliance. If you have previous experience in Payroll Processing, Talent Acquisition, Coaching & Counseling and you are fluent in Spanish and English, this job is for you!

  • Responsibilities:

  • Conducts recruitment efforts for non-exempt roles; interviews candidates for employment; conducts new-employee orientations; writes and advertises job openings through our ICIMs recruiting tool
  • Coordinates and provides assistance to area leaders with the development and delivery of training programs
  • Train and support managers and supervisors in reviewing employees time sheet, to ensure accurate payroll
  • Work in collaboration with the Canadian payroll and benefits manager
  • Administers payroll functions including review of timesheet reports, wage computation and other information
  • Responsible for updating the company's HR platform by processing all transactions related to internal processes
  • Act as a guardian of the best practices in maintaining our HR platform data, by processing audit, and training managers
  • Prepares employment records, pay changes, promotions, terminations and other employment activities; supports
  • Administers plant recognition programs and oversees progressive discipline process for hourly employees
  • Assists with and prepares changes in employment status, terminations, time-off request, documentation and compliance
  • Prepares internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies
  • Qualifications:

  • Professional or Senior Professional Human Resources (PHR/SPH) certification
  • Experience in Payroll Processing, Talent Acquisition, Coaching & Counseling, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook Suite tools
  • Good communication skills and ability to influence others                                      
  • Ability to multitask and deliver meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • Bilingual, French & English
