    • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily job tasks safely, effectively, with quality workmanship and on-time
  • Test units prior to shipping in house as per factory specifications and make necessary changes as required
  • Provide technical support to service technicians as required
  • Handle, recover and store refrigerants
  • Assemble and install mechanical and electrical components, measure, cut and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
  • Ensure scrap and rework to a minimum - report scrap and/or rework immediately to supervisor
  • Complete all required paperwork daily (timecards, job worksheets etc.)
  • Ensure work area is clean, organized and free of any safety hazards at all times
  • Attend / participate in weekly production meetings
  • Communicate immediately to supervisor should any problems arise with tasks assigned  

    • Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • ODP Certificate
  • Completion of Relevant Technical Training
  • Minimum 6 months’ experience required
  • Must possess excellent verbal, written, communication and listening skills

    • · Must also be physically fit enough to work for long periods of time
