Adecco is currently recruiting for a full time permanent Immigration Specialist job in White Rock, BC.  The Immigration Specialist will be responsible for guiding clients through all procedures required to ensure their successful immigration.  You will furnish clients with relevant information and resources, supervising the completion of documentation and submitting data on behalf of individuals as required.

Immigration Specialist Responsibilities:


  • Keeping up to date with alterations to immigration laws in Canada.
  • Meeting with prospective and existing clients to gauge which services they require.
  • Providing clients with all pertinent documents.
  • Assisting clients with the completion of paperwork and ensuring that it is submitted on time. Verifying the authenticity of paperwork and supporting documents.
  • Work with team to identify and complete work permit, residency, visa and immigration related documentation
  • Update and maintain internal company information systems with changes in immigration actions according to immigration department guidelines and maintaining visa tracking reports and providing regular updates on the status of deliverables
  • Keep the team informed of progress and work to identify immigration related solutions.
  • Provide comprehensive, expert guidance to attorneys and staff on all immigration matters throughout every stage of the process and provide consultation and guidance to pre-offer candidates
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of direct related work experience in an immigration administration/management role.
  • You will exhibit diligence, particularly when completing and submitting requisite paperwork
  • You must always stay informed on the changing immigration laws and alert the team of foreseeable delays that cannot be avoided.
  • MUST POSSESS AN CCRC certification.
  • Excellent research, fact-checking and writing abilities.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strict observance of all applicable deadlines.
  • A team player who works well independently with minimal supervision.
