Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent, full-time Inside Sales Coordinator in Markham, ON to work for one of our reputable clients. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Canadian foodservice sales team by providing proactive/reactive approaches to support sales across the Canadian market selling commercial foodservice supplies & service robotics.  If you have previous Food Service experience and understand equipment and supplies industry/items, this job is for you!

  • Responsibilities:

  • Manage rebate programs with Financial Analyst (buying groups)
  • Manage pricing files & quotes with Regional Sales Managers and VP for approval
  • Work closely with Customer Service, Marketing and Shared Services groups in Head Office to ensure process compliance and to maximize the customer experience
  • Provide analysis on competitive set pricing and provide support to tradeshows (virtual/online) as needed with limited travel required
  • Cross reference internal and external items using Excel and Autoquotes
  • Track and report on KPI’s and support a proactive customer response strategy following up on sales leads
  • Knowledgeable on customer buying patterns to support Supply Chain, Sales team
  • Support customer inquiries received directly and to assist Customer Service
  • Reach out proactively to Canadian customers to maximize order support and fulfillment
  • Work with ERP system management reports as information tool to support the team
  • Complete customer listing forms as required
  • Help to support customers and identified relationships by supporting Regional Sales Managers especially when they are travelling (accompany a key customer visit if needed)
  • Coordinate and participate in product training and buying group events
  • Qualifications: 

  • Must have Foodservice experience to understand equipment and supplies industry/items
  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent 5-7 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in a senior customer liaison or sales support similar role
  • Must be organized, detail oriented with good time management approaches
  • Strong data analysis and Excel skills to work with sales data and reporting
  • Must have strong Microsoft skills, including powerpoint, to support presentations
  • Large system CRM experience (preferably Salesforce) or similar for sales leads and to generate Autoquotes
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills for business communications with the ability to build strong, remote/virtual customer and team relationships
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
