Our client, a leader in the transportation industry is looking for a driven Inside Sales Rep. This is paying 45,000 50,000 per yer. Position is responsible for researching, soliciting and booking qualified brokerage sales leads for the outside

Sales Account Executives. Research leads from various lead sources. Make out bound sales calls from various lead sources to potential prospects. Qualify prospect to ensure they are a target account. Once qualified representative is to book the appointment for corresponding outside Sales Account Executive. Once appointment has been booked, place lead in corresponding outside Sales Account Executive calendar and send email notification to sales rep. Keep track of all leads, daily # of calls and contacts on lead tracker. All other duties assigned

High School Diploma is required; College Diploma in Business Administration and or equivalent is preferred. Customs certificate is a definite asset Minimum two (2) year in a telemarketing / call center outbound sales role environment, preferably within customs brokerage. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products Self-disciplined with excellent organizational and time management skills. Able to work independently and or part of a team. Strong prospecting skills and negotiating/closing skills is a must. Strong communication skills verbal and written is required. Problem solving, accuracy, attention to detail and analytical ability is required. Decision Making Responsibilities Generally standardized procedures involving wide variety of routine tasks or limited variety of semi routine tasks. Some judgment involved in the making of minor decisions affecting the accuracy and quality of work. Analysis of standardized data to generate information for use by others. Problems can occur and employee makes decisions within limits defined by standard or accepted practice.

Contacts Internal and External Contacts a regular part of the responsibilities of the job, to deal with routine matters, where some tact is required. Inside contacts involve: Presenting reports and recommendations; receiving and settling transactions; adjustments to working arrangements and co-coordinating others involved in similar work. Outside contacts are of a regular nature which requires tact and courtesy, primarily in providing, obtaining or exchanging information.
