Adecco is currently recruiting for a Instructional Designer/Technical Writer for a 2-Year contract with our Crown Corporation Client in Ottawa, ON. 
**The successful candidate must hold a valid SECRET clearance.
The Instructional Designer/Technical Writer will have the following responsibilities:

-    Work in collaboration with the subject matter experts (SME) to complete the development of training material required for the training program;
-    Build the creation of a training catalogue/repository;
-    Produce instructional materials, in conjunction with SME’s, within defined time lines ensuring all review processes are followed;
-    Liaise and work with SME’s to: identify objectives, gather material, structure effective lessons for audiences;
-    Write, revise and edit training, work process and procedure documents from information provided by SME’s;
-    Analyze material for logic, completeness, focus, clarity, grammar, spelling and punctuation;
-    Work in collaboration with SME’s to ensure accuracy and relevance of content to training.
The Instructional Designer/Technical Writer must meet the following mandatory requirements:
-    University Degree or College Diploma in Instructional Design, Adult Education, English or another related discipline with: Instructional Design Certificate or Technical Writer Certificate, or similar certification;
-    3+ years of demonstrated experience in design and development of training programs and program materials;
-    Demonstrated knowledge of instructional design theories, methodologies and best practices;
-    Demonstrated ability to convey complex concepts and information in easily understood visual and written formats to support training program;
-    Demonstrated ability to facilitate and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing;
-    Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams;
-    Demonstrated ability to problem solve, influence and make decisions;
-    Demonstrated experience working in a dynamic and agile environment;
-    Demonstrated knowledge of the banking functions and core business processes.
Nice to have:
-    French will be considered an asset.
