Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist instrumentation maintenance personnel and contractors in day-to-day operations activities, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Participate in maintaining and troubleshooting site-specific instrumentation equipment to optimize operations, adhering to established standards, procedures, drawings, and codes.
Commit to the client’s policies, values, regulatory compliance, and the operational integrity program.
Support and mentor junior employees, accepting guidance and coaching.
Assist in instrumentation maintenance activities during turnarounds, commissioning, and start-up projects.
Complete instrumentation maintenance records (e.g., work permits, work notification closeouts) with accuracy and timely reporting.
Respond to emergency situations and incidents in compliance with the client’s Emergency Response Plan (ERP) through Incident Command System (ICS) and notify on and off-site.
Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification as an instrumentation journeyman or technologist equivalent
Minimum of 5 years' experience in instrumentation fieldwork
Possession of a Class 5 driver’s license along with a serviceable truck
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
