 Adecco is hiring! On behalf of our client, we are in search of a full-time Instrumentation Technician. To be a candidate for this role a Instrumentation Technician certificate with Aquaculture experience, is necessary. Our client is a large company in the Aquaculture Industry. This position is physically demanding and may require the associate to frequently stand, walk, sit and reach. The associate must also have the ability to perform field work, often in difficult conditions. 

Technician Responsibilities:

  • Field work including installations, commissioning, start-up, repairs, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of equipment in the Aquaculture Industry.
  • Evaluate equipment/system performance and assist customers in reaching their objectives
  • Provide technical support for projects
  • Provide broad technical expertise and support for a range of third party equipment
  • Work with sub-contractors and staff on projects as required
  • Report on project performance and provide administrative reporting after field trips
  • Assist with sales support activities
  • Ensure required spare parts and consumables for the proper completion of the service to be performed are available
  • Train our customers on a variety of products
  • Compete checklist for any onsite service, according to protocols and company procedures
Additional Requirements:
  • Instrumentation diploma and/or field related experience
  • Computer networking and electronic control systems experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Aquaculture related experience
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven interpersonal skills and strong commitment towards customer service and developing relationships
  • Abilities in managing time in order to adjust priorities based on service needs
  • Autonomous and able to work with a minimum supervision and strong time management skills
  • Available to travel up to 75% within the territory
  • Capability to work within team environment to deliver agreed outcomes
