Adecco is currently hiring for a Insurance Claims Calculation Administrator in Halifax, NS. To qualify for this role you must have 2+ years of work experience in an administrative role.

We are seeking an individual with the ability to grow and change with a dynamic business and who enjoys working in a team environment. This position is a 8 months contract with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour with a possibility of an extension. 

Insurance Claims Calculation Administrator responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  •  long term disability claim approvals 
  • benefit adjustments and follow up on over payment of benefits including corresponding letters
  •  financial duties such as stop payments, voids, refund deposits, garnishments, calculating employment earnings offsets, and processing TD1s. 
Insurance Claims Calculation Administrator Qualification
  • University/College Degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounting
  • 2+ years of work experience in an administrative role
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset
  • Knowledge of financial or insurance terminology would be an asset
  • Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel etc.
  • Good with numbers
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Strong customer service experience in a demanding environment'
  • Bilingual in French and English preferred
