Adecco is currently hiring for an Insurance Client Support Specialist in Toronto, ON. To be considered for this Insurance Client Support Specialist role you must have graduated from a bachelor’s degree or a College certificate, have 2 years of client support experience, have working knowledge of Excel and others MS-Office software programs and also have strong attention to detail. Our client is a leading insurance and professional services firm. Within this role, you will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day administration operations associated with issuing surety bonds and ensure accuracy and timely issuance of client documentation including bonds, prequalification letters, renewal certificates, invoices, endorsements. This is a 6 months full time contract position and has a pay rate of $23.72 per hour. Working hours will be from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The Insurance Client Support Specialist Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting in day-to-day administration operations associated with issuing surety bonds.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely issuance of client documentation including bonds, prequalification letters, renewal certificates, invoices, endorsements
  • Working in partnership with client executives & client representatives to ensure approval of bonds. This includes collection of information and presentation to sureties and clients
  • Supporting in data management and maintenance
  • Preparing bond costing for tenders, & final bonds (contract/commercial). This includes but is not limited to primary & pro-rated return/additional premium costing
  • Providing support in conducting primary and secondary research with client executive on behalf of clients (i.e. pulling bond liabilities reports, collection of financial information, etc.)
  • Creating client files and updates filing documentation as required
  • Maintaining proper records for reporting and audit purposes
  • Ensuring all documents are current and correct
  • Maintaining electronic file system for scanned bonds & email documentation.
  • Preparing correspondence/reports/other documents as needed with guidance from client team
  • Collaborating internally to identify and resolving information gaps in key account data.
  • Adhering to company procedures and data integrity standards
  • May handle the mail service/liaise with couriers
  • The Insurance Client Support Specialist Qualifications Include:

  • Graduated from a bachelor’s degree or a College certificate
  • Working knowledge of Excel and others MS-Office software programs
  • RIBO or OTL license would be an asset
  • Professional service industry knowledge or experience is an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and within a team-based environment
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn new concepts and skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
