Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Intermediate Engineer - Wafer Fab for our Medical Manufacturing client in Ottawa West. This is a 1 year contract opportunity offering Full Time hours, Monday – Friday. The salary for this position will be determined based on education and experience.
The successful candidate will thrive on working in an environment that drives many diverse projects at the same time. They will be able to use their creative problem-solving skills to help the team arrive at unique solutions to critical problems and then implement to a tight timeline.
Intermediate Engineer - Wafer Fab Responsibilities:

  • Participate on a team that executes projects that pursue strategic elements of client’s business interests. These projects may relate to: New Product Introduction, Yield Improvement, Capacity tool procurement, Cost Reduction, Process optimization, Quality compliance etc;
  • Assist in planning and executing process characterizations, validations and verifications;
  • Assist in developing strategies to resolve process and/or product problems;
  • Implement process / equipment changes as per ’clientss Design Control Process;
  • Train to and apply Quality Systems requirements and procedures.
  • Intermediate Engineer - Wafer Fab Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering required;
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment required;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required;
  • Ability to work to tight timelines and accommodate changing priorities;
  • Excellent knowledge and data gathering and dissemination skills, via report writing, presentation skills and conversations with peers is required;
  • Ability to design experiments, analyze and interpret data, and document conclusions;
  • Problem solving skills;
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills.
