Adecco is currently recruiting for a Intermediate Project Manager  for a 3-year contract to permanent  in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate must hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance or be eligible for one.

The Intermediate Project Manager  will have the following responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. 
- Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders. 
- Evaluate trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value and provide recommendations on way forward. 
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis and determine and manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. 
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using applicable tools and tracks, analyze and manage project risks, issues, milestones and deliverables.

The Intermediate Project Manager must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Have a bachelor’s degree or a college diploma or a demonstrated equivalent experience in Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field. 
- Have a strong background managing IT Projects.
- Have strong delivery skills including use of Agile, waterfall techniques/approaches.
- Have strong vendor management skills.
- Have experiences leading and directing matrix resources.
- Have experiences communicating and interacting with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Have experiences solving problems to seek out solutions to ensure the project remains on schedule.
- Have influencing and negotiation skills to drive consensus across various functions.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have knowledge of project management, of vendor management, of business needs analysis, of budget management, of software development methodologies, of IM/IT policies, and standards and procedures.
- Have experiences in project resource planning, budgeting, in managing IM/IT projects and programs, in project audit, in business analysis, in Request for Proposal development, in IM/IT contracts, in software development.
- Have a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Implementation of CRM, Cloud/SAAS solutions, MS Dynamics 365, financial systems, insurance systems and retail/point of sale systems are assets.
