Intermediate Technician - Temporary

Adecco is currently hiring for a Senior Technician for our Medical Manufacturing client in Ottawa West. This is a 1-year contract opportunity offering full time hours, 6.30am-6.30pm (4 days on, 4 days off) shift rotation

Senior Technician Responsibilities:

  • Performs complex work involving interpretation of information, techniques, and methodologies for successful completion
  • Generally, works independently in accordance with standard practices, policies, and precedents. Supervisory direction is available when necessary.
  • Plans and organizes work/project assignments of a substantial variety and complexity. Initiates or maintains schedule for key work packages. Establishes priorities for individual projects and assignments. Records process and result data accurately and keeps tasks logs.
  • Solves complex problems requiring extensive interpretation of procedures and practices. Selects methods and practices to solve problems using ingenuity, creativity and a high degree of independent action and initiative. May develop and implement projects from concept to completion.
  • Communicates ideas and suggestions for improving processes to leadership and actively participates in implementing solutions. Updates associated documentation, as necessary.
  • Understands and complies with Quality and EH&S policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Safeguards the environment and facilitates a safe and healthy workplace culture.
  • Recommends measures to improve procedures and practices, methods, performance, and quality of product, and suggests changes to increase efficiency
  • Education Required

    College Diploma in a technical field (2-or 3-year program) or equivalent work experience

    Prior Experience required

    1 to 3 years relevant work experience in a technical job is preferred
