Intermediate/Sr. Accountant | $50K+ - $62K+ l Richmond, BC | Permanent

Adecco has partnered with a leading international manufacturing client in the building construction sector. Reporting into the Accounting Manager you will be responsible for:




Preparation of schedules and journal entries relating to prepaid expenses, accruals, capital assets, and others (reclass, etc.)
Preparation of sales invoices
Maintain/track EXPT (Export) sales listings
Where applicable, the identification and recording of specific project names relating to sales invoices
Maintain/track Canada sales by provinces
Processing and allocation of inward wire transfers and/or cheques
When requested by Manager, preparation and forwarding of Accounts Receivable Statements
Tracking of capitalised trademarks and domain renewals
Preparation of some month-end reconciliations and schedules
Completion of cost of materials schedule for Stats Canada
Provision of back-up for duties of accounts payable staff
Performance of other tasks and duties as directed by the Accounting Manager.




Requirements:



Minimum four years practical experience in AP, AR and general accounting
Sufficient educational level reached in the study of accounting (preferably CGA/CPA)
Good teamwork (within accounting and other departments)
High degree of accuracy and attention to details
Positive attitude and willingness to take on extra work when necessary
Tidy and well-organized (especially considering high volume of documentation)
High degree of reliability, honesty and integrity
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience with AS400 and/or manufacturing A/P and A/R would be an advantage.
