Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary Inventory Clerk to work full-time hours for our client in Oakville, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and maintaining all inventory in the warehouse. You will report any discrepancies found within the system and report directly to their Inventory Leads and Operations Manager. This role is eligible for a wage increase after 3 months working upon sucessful evaluation completion. This position is temporary with possiblity of permanent role for the right candidate!. 

  • Pay rate: $18-19/hour, depending on experience
  • Location: Oakville, ON
  • Availability Required: Monday-Friday
  • Days 6:30am to 3pm
  • Afternoons 3pm to 11:30pm
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

  • Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills, ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Perform cycle counts daily, as well as Inventory Control Functions.
  • Reports any discrepancies to Inventory Leads and Operations Manager.
  • Problem solving skills is an asset.
  • Experience within a fast-moving, technology driven environment.
  • Data entry to CTDI systems via PC and RF handheld devices.
  • Support Inventory team with various tasks at hand.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
  • Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e., testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate a PC and input data.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Must be able to work in varying facility conditions.
  • Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and potentially holidays as needed by the customer
