Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary, full-time Inventory Control Specialist to work a one-year contract with our client, a well-established industry Leader in the Supply of Industrial MRO and Safety Products. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and management of inventory for the CDCs and Branches. You will also ensure an adequate supply of products to service customer needs while minimizing working inventory investment by assessing demand activity. Location: Edmonton, AB; Potential for hybrid after initial period
Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8 AM – 5 PM

Duties and Responsibilities:
Schedule and execute the replenishment from CDC to service centers
Surplus stock realignment between branches, CDC, and regions
Demand Forecasting/Management for Branches and CDC
Ensure locations achieve desired customer service levels and fill rates
Perform inventory risk assessment for promotions, product launches, season and discount buys
Ensure ERP Master Data is maintained and accurate for product master
Resolve unit of measure issues
Ensure that the scheduled inventory/purchasing reports are on-time and exceptions reviewed
Requirements and Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years+ experience in Supply Chain is needed
Possess excellent Microsoft Excel skills
Possess thorough knowledge of the Infor SXe system, and Slimstock or Gains
Must be Familiar with Cognos
Should have good time management and communication skills
Must be detail oriented with outstanding logical and analytical thinking
Able to analyze large amounts of data and provide solutions to inventory loss issues and to increase inventory accuracy
Able to work alone and in a team environment
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
