Our client in Scarborough, ON is looking for an Inventory Control manager to join their growing team. This is an ideal position for someone who is looking to grow within a company. Having experience implementing inventory control procedures is a benefit.

Inventory Control Manager responsibilities:

Management of the inventory & resources
Enter and maintain data in computer database for price changes and discontinued product
Work with Management in various departments and liaise with plants to have required stock built for customers, and to maintain stock
Review variance reports and reconcile inventory for all branches
Work with, and assist branches, sales team and service dept in sourcing product from various suppliers
Evaluate movement of product and review sales reports to estimate stock requirements
Receive new product into stock from suppliers via invoices
Ensure all incoming shipments are properly recorded, and work with Warehouse staff to maintain efficient storage of product
Complete monthly inventory counts, reconcile and input all inventory counts from all branches every month
Assist in the yearly audit by providing count sheets, invoice receipts from suppliers and any other documentation that the auditors may require

Inventory Control job qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of inventory management or related experience
Completed, or enrolled in any accredited courses within APICS
Post-Secondary education in business-related discipline or Supply Chain Management/Inventory Control is an asset, but not required
High understanding of the supply chain process
Highly organized and very detail -oriented
Excellent communication and writing skills
