Adecco are currently recruting for an Invoice Rate Validator for our client a leading North American fuel corporation based in Burnaby, BC. Reporting to the Manager of Accounts Payable, the Invoice Rate Validator will be responsible for accurately validating, tracking and processing supplier service invoices.
The ideal candidate will have an understading of service contracts, be a great commincator and enjoy working team environment.  

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and process a high volume of invoices
  • Manage invoice log with document status
  • Validate invoices to contract including approvals, coding and backup
  • Work with Service Order Owners for approvals and issue resolutions
  • Ensure invoices have full appropriate backup to support charges and validate to contracts
  • Correctly route invoices for approval based on coding
  • Support the month-end accrual process
  • Contact internal and external clients to resolve invoicing, receiving discrepancies.
  • Work with contractors to improve invoicing
  • Assist in training new team members, and actively participate in process improvement
  • Assist with system testing, as required
  • 2-4 years Accounts Payable Exprience
  • Well versed with GST/HST/PST regulations
  • Working knowledge of Workers Compensation Board
  • GAAP
  • Intermediate Excel Sills
  • Strong Attention to detail
  • Analytical Skills
  • Ability to cross check other staff members work for accuracy
  • Proactive with a team centric attitude
  • Ability to work independently
