Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary IT Business Analyst position in Calgary, AB. To qualify for thisIT Business Analyst role, you must have over five years of IT Business Analyst experience and have experience with a Student Information System (SIS) ERP. The client is a post secondary institution located in downtown Calgary, AB.

IT Business Analyst Job Responsibilities:
Is able to effectively facilitate meetings and brainstorming / consensus building workshops to elicit requirements that are both technical and non-technical.
Can translate technical jargon into business speak.
Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies but also able to see the big picture.
Ability to effectively prepare the following documents:

  1. Business Process Flows
  2. Requirements Documents
  3. Data models.
  4. Detailed Functional Design.  

Able to perform QA and Testing duties as required.
Can work with a QA strategist and the wider program team roles to understand how technical integrations can be tested and defects tracked.
Experience with cloud base solutions would be an asset.
Experience gathering requirements for system integrations or for custom built software is a must
Experience with Jira/Confluence an asset

IT Business Analyst Job Qualifications:

Over five years of Business Analyst experience

Able to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel

Organizational change management experience is an asset

Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & Visio)

Completed Business Analyst certificate

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
