Adecco is currently recruiting to a full time permanent IT Field Service Technician (Tier II) job in Vancouver, BC. The IT Field Service Technician (Tier II) will be responsible for providing desktop, server and network hardware support to clients in the Vancouver market.

IT Field Service Technician (Tier II) Responsibilities:

  • Provide desktop, server and network hardware support in assigned territory.
  • Receive and respond to escalated tier 2 support requests and respond to desk side and remote support requests for end users.
  • Attend regular onsite client check-ups to ensure top quality service is being delivered.
  • Analyze and improve upon technology standards to maintain a technological and competitive edge within the market
  • Have the ability to manage both on-site and remote requirements to efficiently resolve issues.
  • Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting and building SMB environments
  • Possess an IT Certification such as: Microsoft MCP, MCSE or MCITP, VMware VCP, Fortinet FCNSA or Cisco CCNA
  • Demonstrated intermediate to senior level expertise in IT applications, processes, software, and equipment with diagnostic skills for technical issues
  • Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services
  • Ability to multi-task, adapt to changes quickly and follow directions well
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to work independently managing your time effectively.
