Adecco is currently recruiting for a IT & Operations Support for a 3-4-Weeks (possible extension) contract with our Client in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate must hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance or be eligible for it.
The IT & Operations Support will have the following responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, monitor and inventory all IT equipment;
  • Assign and log laptops along with user and email accounts and all necessary network drives; 
  • Liaise with Grade A on accounts (network & email);
  • Assess and coordinate all AV requirements;
  • Troubleshoot and assist with computer technical problems;
  • Load software and/or printer access when required;
  • Liaise with Rogers and Versature on telephone accounts;
  • Coordinate, monitor and inventory all Staff Phones;
  • Inform and make recommendations to Director regarding Phone Plans;
  • Assist with setting up offices and or moving furniture for new hires;
  • Assist with maintaining on-line store;
  • Manage on-line; 
  • Help move equipment, boxes, office materials as needed.
  • The IT & Operations Support must meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • Post-secondary level education, preferably a diploma in IT support;
  • 2+ years of related administrative experience;
  • Full comprehension, knowledge, and experience with Microsoft Office;
  • Experience with NGO’s, NIOs, other organizations, special interest groups and government or non-government agencies.
  • Able to work under pressure with multiple activities and deadlines
    Nice to have:

  • Bilingualism (French and English);
  • Communications skills – written and verbal.
